Hard water a Problem?
Are you dealing with hard water stains on your sinks and/or tubs? I want to share what I discovered. I have lived in the home I am in for about 7 years. First of all I live in California and we have got to have some of the hardest water. So there was some really bad stains that I wanted to get rid of. I tried so many different products, not only where they make hard to breath, I was scratching the surface with the tools I was using. And after all the effort they didn’t even get the job done. Eventually I gave up and decided to just live with it. But it stilled bugged me. Well a friend mentioned some stuff she thought might work and although I wasn’t too hopeful I decided to try it. So I sprayed a small area at first. using a sponge with a light scratcher. Left it for about 10 minutes. And it practically wiped completely away…with just a little more attention and it literally looked brand new. And the best thing about it is it was totally toxin free. So need to wear gloves and a mask

Miracle Stain Removal? ;)
Have you ever gotten a stain on one of your new pieces of clothing and just been sick about it? Did you try everything and still in the end had to throw it away? Well I may have some good news for you. Not long ago I was having a get together with some family and friends. One of the toddlers were having a snack in the highchair. Unfortunately we didn’t realize that my grandson had been in that same highchair a little while before and was eating some delicious frozen blueberries. Terrific snack, not so great when it gets on a brand new white ruffle skirt that his cousin was wearing. I saw it and just though it was ruined. However I had just recently been introduced to a new product that someone said may get rid of the stain. I thought what the heck…it can’t make it worse. So we put this stuff on it and I could hardly believe my eyes. But after a bit of scrubbing and letting it set the stain was totally gone. I have included some pictures for you to check out. Another thing that is amazing is that this product toxic free. I’ve used it lots of things since and I will now be sure to always have it on hand. Let me know it you’d like some more information-I’d be glad to show you. 951-595-7284

It never too Late to learn…
This is my son Chaz’s first year in college and this is one of the project’s that he did in his Art class. This is an actually picture that his teacher took of him giving an intense expression. Which he had to draw on a 24X30 inch canvas. He had never even shared with me his love of art. We have always had a great relationship and he has always been very gifted both academically and in sports (mainly soccer). The main point I am attempting to make is that he discovered something new about himself and had allot of fun learning a new set of skills. He is passionate about it and it shows.
I think sometimes we think we know all of our talents and we limit ourselves when it comes to learning new things…thinking we may not be very good or it will be some sort of struggle.
He inspired me to try my hand at drawing and although I am not very good I find it very enjoyable.
So be open to learning something new…
Have you ever heard of the artist known as Grandma Moses She was born Sept 7th 1860 she died December 13th 1961 (she was 101 years old). The interesting thing here is she was in her 70′s when she started painting. She was actually 79 when she was awarded the Women’s National Press Club Trophy for outstanding accomplishment in art from President Truman.
In November 2006, her painting named ‘Sugaring Off’ (1943), became her highest selling piece of work which sold for $1.2 million (US). Amazing!
So go ahead and do something you have never done you never know you just might awaken one of your greatest talents.

What is local-cocooning?
I recently read an article that helped me to understand some of the trends that I have personally been observing over the last few years. It’s where people are focusing on their local communities/neighborhoods and connecting with those who support their ideals.
With so much happening in the world we are all looking to simplify our lives and put forth our efforts in those projects/issues that are truly important to us.
One of the ways we are doing that is by becoming educated consumers. We are looking at companies as a whole: We want a great product, that is being produced in an ethical and healthy manner, not only that we want to see that the companies we are supporting are actively assisting in worthwhile projects locally as well as around the world.
While so many of the ‘trusted agencies’ are not living up to the public’s trust, we are doing our own investigations and arming ourselves with knowledge.
We are seeing this not only in our local communities/neighborhoods but it is also spreading throughout our Social arena’s as well…like-minded people are joining together and looking for solutions and ideals to share with one another for the collective good.

The obstacles in our life do present a opportunity for some of our greatest rewards.
In ancient times, a king had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the big stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. On approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. As the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many others never understand. Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve one’s condition. – Unknown

Gratitute ~
A FaceBook friends had posted this amazing prayer of gratitude and as I read it, it gave me a feeling of peaceful expectation. I wanted to pass that feeling along…
Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don’t know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.
Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you’re tired and weary
Because it means you’ve made a difference.
It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
also thankful for the setbacks.
GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your blessings.

Be grateful that you more to do, see, feel and grow through…HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY!

Life’s Golden Ticket-My thought’s…
I was up until 3 a.m. finishing this incredible book written by Brendon Burchard. I felt that I just had to share my experience.
Jack Canfield’s word’s on the cover express it quite well…”A powerful parable of loss, love, and redemption that will stir the souls of it’s readers. Burchard has crafted something eternal here.”
I was caught up in the story immediately, I received it on Saturday and finished it Monday morning.
In the beginning Brendon promised several things to his readers that kept me moving chapter to chapter…I was emersed in the characters and I cried and truly felt the emotions that they were experiencing. By the last page I was personally called to action and felt prepared to move forward. Today has been a great day for action and Re-evaluating just what my Purpose in this precious life is. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.

Count Your Blessings Today!
“The hardest arithmetic to master is that which enables us to count our blessings.” – Eric Hoffer
Often times we get so caught up with all the things that are going wrong that we neglect to recognize all those things that are going right. In a busy house with 2 teenagers and a 10 year old that I am home schooling. Life can get hectic. So it is vital that I keep things in perspective. So counting my blessings on a daily basis’ is key.
‘Don’t let your worries get the best of you;
Remember, Moses started out as a basket case.’

Act as though it were Impossible to fail.
It has been a while since my last entry. It has been a wonderful time of welcoming a new baby into the family. Oliver my grandson arrived just 10 days ago. What a blessing he has been. Of course when you experience these types of events it is a time of reflection and a sense of wonder…all the possibilities that you visualize as you look into that tiny precious face. What will he become…will he be quiet or more boisterous? Will his favorite color be blue or maybe green. Will his eyes turn hazel or will they remain blue. It’s all part of the fun as you watch the little ones grow-up.
During this time I was listening to one of my mentors John Lavenia, discussing a book written during the depression 1939 by Dorothea Brande ‘Wake up and live” I got myself a copy of the book and as I read the Introduction, what was written it could have easily applied to today’s economic situation or at least the mental attitude of the majority of people today. Now it is not my intention to discuss this particular subject I just found it noteworthy.
If you are interested in reading the book in it’s entirety you will find a ‘free’ online copy of the book at http://www.scribd.com/doc/4710154/Dorothea-Brande-Wake-Up-and-Live .
There was a quote or mantra that she suggests to her reader’s to apply to their lives…’Act as though it were impossible to fail’
As I thought about the statement and asked myself, what if I applied that statement to the various areas of my life…If it were impossible to fail how would that effect the decision I make on a daily, weekly, yearly or most importantly lifetime basis.
Decisions about things such as business, relationships, parenting, spirituality would take on a whole different process. For instance…would you look at a business as how little can I invest so if it fails I won’t loss much? No, you would look at …would I enjoy doing this, would this allow me to control my time or will this provide the lifestyle I want for my family? Always remembering that failure is not an option. Your fears and worries would not be included in the decision making process. So as you go along…the decision is made and although the end result (your success) has not arrived yet. You can relax and be present in the day to day activities. With that knowing that it is impossible to fail. And when those obstacles show up and you know they will. Just remember that the final outcome is “Your Success”
I plan on sharing this mantra with Oliver. So that as he grows and steps out into his life he will be able to make his decision based on merit and not fear. I want Oliver to live life to the fullest and be the happiest baby, child and adult possible.
I remember when I was growing up I was told to be careful, don’t get you hope’s up, if it looks to good to be true…it probably is. These things were said based on fear.
I now realize that I will succeed…it’s impossible not to.
So let go of those thoughts and idea’s that bring up doubts and fears and focus on those thought’s that will take you towards the life you truly desire…and ask yourself~What if it were impossible to fail?
